Metal Slug 6

Metal Slug 6 is a run and gun video game published by SEGA and SNK Playmore, released in 2006. Metal Slug 6 revisits the Rebel-Martian alliance from Metal Slug 2, X, and 3 in Metal Slug 6. The player teams up with the Rebels and Martians to combat a greater threat. There are two modes of play the player can choose from: Easy and Hard. Two gun power-ups can now be carried at an equivalent time. The faster the speed at which enemies are shot down, the more the facility. With the Zantetsu Sword, the player’s melee weapon can create devastating energy waves that can negate opposing weaponry. Except for Fio and Ralf, the sliding technique from Metal Slug 5 has been deleted, and players receive half as much ammo for special weaponry.

One month after the events of Metal Slug 3, General Morden’s frightening influence looms over the earth once more. Marco Rossi and Tarma Roving of the Peregrine Falcon squad rejoins with Eri Kasamoto and Fio Germi of SPARROWS and is sent to investigate Morden’s next plot. They are joined by two new allies, Ralf Jones and Clark Still of the Ikari Warriors. They travel together into the mountains, where Morden’s Rebel Army has set up a base. The six troops confront Morden after destroying their latest war machine in a long hillside battle and discover that he has renewed his alliance with the Martians. However, it is soon revealed that the Martians are being invaded and consumed by a new vicious alien known as Invaders and that they have sought Morden’s assistance.

As soon invaders invade Earth’s Cities, soldiers chase them into the desert, where the Invader King has set up a nest. They rescue the captured Martians and defeat the Invader King with the help of the Rebels.
